Hudson Imaging, based in the Hudson Medical Center building, is looking for a dedicated and patient-centered Baylor CT/Rad Technologist to join our team. This Full-Time position is a .75 FTE, with 25 hours of work each week but compensation for 30 hours. The role requires working 12-hour shifts every weekend and some holidays, with the following schedule:

  • Saturday: 8 AM – 9 PM
  • Sunday: 9 AM – 9 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and develop high-quality x-rays for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
  • Prepare and inform patients about their procedures.
  • Manage and maintain radiology files, including both internal and external films.
  • Prepare, clean, and stock the work area with necessary supplies.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Adhere to radiation safety precautions.
  • Provide patients with requested x-rays as needed.
  • Assist provider teams in obtaining imaging from other medical facilities for clinics and surgeries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • ARRT registration or licensure required.
  • Previous experience in radiology is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Hudson Imaging is a full-service Imaging Center located in the Hudson Medical Center building. We are excited to fill our CT Technologist position with a dedicated, motivated and patient focused employee. We are looking for a full time or 1.0 FTE CT Technologist that will also perform X-Ray and CT scans.

Responsibilities:

Image Acquisition:

– Operate CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.

– Follow established protocols to ensure high-quality imaging.

– Adjust equipment and settings as necessary to capture the best images.

Patient Care:

– Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.

– Position patients correctly to obtain the required images while ensuring their comfort.

– Administer contrast agents orally or intravenously as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.

Safety and Compliance:

– Adhere to radiation safety regulations and guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.

– Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and regularly checked for safety and functionality.

– Follow all institutional policies, procedures, and protocols.

Collaboration:

– Work closely with radiologists to review images and provide additional imaging if necessary.

– Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members regarding patient status and imaging results.

– Assist in the training and supervision of radiology students and new staff.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

– Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging data and procedure notes.

– Ensure proper documentation of contrast media administration and any adverse reactions.

– Keep detailed logs of equipment maintenance and quality assurance activities.

Continuing Education:

– Stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.

– Attend training sessions, workshops, and continuing education courses as required.

 

Qualifications:

– Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

– Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.

– Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist.

– Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

– Excellent communication and patient care skills.

– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
