Hudson Imaging is currently looking for a Radiologic Technologist at our medical center in Hudson, WI. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging studies while providing excellent patient care. This .8 FTE position and must be able to work various shifts from 730am to 530pm. Willing to train into CT.

$3,000 sign-on bonus

$3 Shift Differential for any hours worked after 5pm

Requirements:

  • Follow established protocols to ensure high-quality imaging.
  • Adjust equipment and settings as necessary to capture the best images.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain the required images while ensuring their comfort.
  • Administer contrast agents orally or intravenously as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Adhere to radiation safety regulations and guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and regularly checked for safety and functionality.
  • Follow all institutional policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Work closely with radiologists to review images and provide additional imaging if necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members regarding patient status and imaging results.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of radiology students and new staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging data and procedure notes. Ensure proper documentation of contrast media administration and any adverse reactions.
  • Keep detailed logs of equipment maintenance and quality assurance activities.
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and continuing education courses as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program
  • Previous radiology experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Job description:

Hudson Imaging is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team in the Hudson Medical Center building. This .8 FTE position includes responsibilities for X-Ray and CT scans. This person must be able to work various shifts from 1230pm to 9pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain the required images while ensuring their comfort.
  • Administer contrast agents orally or intravenously as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Adhere to radiation safety regulations and guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.

Required Skills:

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging studies while providing excellent patient care. This .8 FTE position and must be able to work various shifts from 730am to 530pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Specializes in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
  • Responsible for the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice in which one works.
  • Assist practice in any and all ways possible to be sure all eligible age appropriate patients have annual screening mammograms.
  • Prepares patients for the mammographic procedure.
  • Explains procedures to the patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Moves mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjusts controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Practices radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills.
  • Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
  • Examines digital images for image quality.
  • Ensures equipment is in proper working order at all times.
  • Performs all required QA testing required to comply with MQSA, ACR and State requirements/regulations.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Processes routine paperwork and all required data entry.
  • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
  • Prepares all required reports and data pursuant to MQSA and State requirements.
  • Assists the Radiologist with QA/QC reporting.
  • Performs all mammography tracking following MQSA guidelines and requirements.
  • Maintains all QA documents necessary to exceed Annual FDA Inspection requirements.
  • Is responsible for obtaining and maintaining ACR accreditation.

Education and Experience Requirements:
